इंटीरियर डिजाइनिंग में हमारे आस-पास, घर ,आफिस, फैक्टरी ,संग्रहालय , होटल रेस्टोरेंट, कैफे, जिम, सिनेमाहाल, हास्पिटल ,क्लीनिक, स्कूल ,विश्वविद्यालय , माॅल, कांफ्रेंस संेटृल, इवेंट , कपंनी, पब, घर के नक्शे इत्यादि को बनाने तथा सजावट करने के लिए इंटीरियर डिजाइन की अहम भूमिका होती है। इंटीरियर डिजाइनिंग में निर्माण कार्य से संबंधित नक्शे बनाकर उनका बजट और समय तथा गुणवत्ता निर्धारित करना तथा उपरोक्त सभी जगहों की सजावट करना जैसे कार्य शामिल हैं। इन सभी डिजाइन की स्कैच बनाकर उन्हें कम्प्यूटर में रूपांतरित कर 2D अथवा 3D डिजाइनिंग में पेश किया जाता है |
